.... But we did have lunch in this 30's style lunch place call the "Elliston Place Ice Cream Shop" a must when you take your next road trip. They have southern lunch specials that usually include a meat and three sides. I had chicken and dumplings with glazed carrots, real mashed potatoes and turnip greens, and finished the meal with a slice of pecan pie. Trey had that same meal he ate at every dive we went to, a grilled cheese sandwich with fries. Vegetarians shouldn't plan on eating in the South.....
